My name is Chaplain Derrick Jackson, and I bring greetings to Our Union Membership Local#218.
It saddens me to witness how our membership is turning against one another throughout Our Union. None of us are perfect. I am sure we can all recall times where we made mistakes and how God forgave us for them. That is because God loves us unconditionally, no matter what, and blesses us even when we do not deserve it. I am sure you agree, when I say we truly have existing issues within our union. However, I want to remind you that these issues are not too big for us, with the help of our God, to conquer together. Didn’t someone famous once say “united we stand, divided we fall.” This means we must reunite as a cohesive strong unit that we as a union are intended to be. My question to you is, do you still believe in Our Union? If you do it is time we stand firm & strong under all circumstances. Let us not allow chaos or drama break Our Union or divide us amongst each other! My prayer is that we stand together & keep standing under all circumstances we faced within the work force, etc. I am not saying to put your Trust into The Union, but rather into God so we can Trust our committee in making difficult decisions that is best for us. It is my personal belief, that if one falls, we all fall & we are only strong if were in Unity together & forever!!! So please say this prayer with me: I am a child of the Most High God, governed by the Lord God himself. I am a Victor & not a Victim within the workforce of my job. I will not entertain thoughts that aren’t good; nor speak Ungodly things about Our Union; but speak Peace and Guidance over Our Union staff committee. I declare Solidarity! Solidarity! Solidarity! In Jesus Name!!!
*God has never judged us and he has never turned us away from his Grace either! *God is of Love, Peace, and Joy!
“Solidarity: Unity or agreement of feeling or actions, especially among individuals with a common interest; and is mutual support within a group.” (Reference scriptures Jeremiah 29:10-14, Isaiah 40:28-31, Psalms 23, and Psalms 30: 5)
