We are pleased to announce UAW 218 members will have an opportunity to work at Bell’s Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) and help produce the MV-75 for the Army. It is predicted that the AMC will provide approximately 400 good paying jobs over the next 40 years, and its focus will be on building blades and gear boxes. 13 new job descriptions were created exclusively for the AMC along with 5 new job families. There will be some legacy jobs at the AMC; however, the initial staffing of the facility will be slow and staggered. We are posting the new AMC job descriptions, and job families on our website. We have been informed by Bell that every employee in a UAW 218 covered job will receive an invitation from Textron University along with a link to access an information training session on the new AMC jobs, movement, and work rules. You will have an opportunity to submit questions, and the questions and answers will be distributed to everyone.
Please click the links below to view the AMC job descriptions and job families. As shared at the union membership meeting today (5/17/26), everyone in a UAW 218 covered job will receive a link from Textron University to view an informational training about the AMC jobs, movement, and work rules. This Textron University training is optional but is recommended if you are interested in applying for a job at the AMC. The AMC is located at 15100 North Beach Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76177.
